Podcast 1
This podcast is about a teacher in an inner city school that teaches "At Risk" students. These students are predominately low income, black and feared. These are students that don't have the same resources as other students some have serious learning gaps and even some can not read. The teacher goes on to tell the students that he fights and trains in jujitsu. The students get really involved in that and ask many questions. I like the part where the teacher says no i have never beat anyone up and don't plan on going professional. I like this because he later goes on to say that he fights for everyday and that being a teacher of at risk students everyday is a fight and jujitsu is just helping him with his everyday life.

Podcast 2
I really liked this podcast a lot. It showed that their is always time to turn your life around. Even if you start down the wrong path you can make a right turn and start on the right path. This podcast shows that you need to have the courage to try something new and not just follow what others around you do. If the path you are going looks dark take a look at your life and see what you need to fix whether that is going back to school or just staying away from the bad things you are doing now. This podcast showed me that their is always time for change and that you are never stuck doing one thing and only one thing.

Podcast 3
This podcast shows that book smarts is not everything in life. Some people don't have the opportunity in life to attend school. They have to work all their lives to support their families. This does not mean they are not smart they are just smart in another way. They learn the essentials they need to survive and make the best of them. They take advantage of every opportunity that is presented to them. This podcast has shown me that even though an education helps greatly in life it is not needed to be happy. Their are people out their that started with nothing and worked throughout their whole lives to make something of themselves and these are some of the greatest people out there.
